What makes producing fun to you?

To me, producing is such an amazing outlet to express emotions & energy!

I love hearing new sounds, I love turning seemingly nonsensical noise into art.

I've been experimenting with new ideas and I want to get some inspiration from you for my next projects!

So what keeps you in that chair locked away from the world? Is it remixing video game music? Trying to make people headbang? Or just making the weirdest thing imaginable? LOL

Making a new video based on your comments!

Let me know in the comments below!!

ps. sneak peak of the new studio ;)

Keep learning new stuff and trying new stuff makes me feel achieved. At my high school, After I taught myself how to produce in Ableton, I fell in love with the excitement of finding new way to produce. However, I noticed that Chinese music industry is lacking the spirit of “enjoying and appreciating” EDM. Instead, a lot of them making EDM just for money . Even though that’s is a cruel truth everywhere, and EDM is very under appreciated in China, I still disgust about how people are putting money in their first priority than enjoying the music. Because of that, I cannot find labels like Disciple where a lot of awesome people like Virtual Riot, Oliverse, Eliminate and others making their mega colab; I cannot find promoting Chaneels like Dubstep Gutters or The nations who are promoting and discovered a lot of talented people; I can hardly find a Chinese Dj like MOONBOY who truly appreciate music as an art but not only the tool of money printing machine. Now, I’m a college student, I’ve been producing for 2 yrs now, and made countless tracks. Seeing people who are more talented than me in a remix contest makes me jealous but exciting more. I know I’m still have a long way on this journey, but seeing a little progress makes me feel achieved and I’m sure I’m happier than people who treat music more economically

Producing is so much fun cause you can have a great connection with notes from weird to formal, ive been listening to dubstep for a decade and I can say how much the community has grown and how fascinating it is to hear new basses across the world now Dubstep can form a great big family :)

I’ve been loving electronic music since 2013, and one day, I realized how much I enjoy music in general, so I look up on YouTube, literally “How to make electronic music”, and everything changed, now I’m working so hard to learn, and be a better producer, become a Dj, I’m even working in a place that I don’t like, just to win some money, buy a turntable (DDJ 400, I’m coming for you), buy a DAW, a new Laptop, everything, just to make people feel what I feel when I listen music.
Much love, hope you’re doing great <3
    (Sorry for that English tho)

I like recording random sounds using things I find in my house and turning those into sounds whether they be drums, melodies or basses. It keeps me interested and it makes me change my sound design process every time for unique sounds.
